Each year the BalletNova Center for Dance reaches over 8,000 individuals in the Northern Virginia area through its artistic performances, community outreach and dance classes. We need your support to continue our mission of nurturing and training dancers of all ages, providing rigorous ballet training for aspiring professionals, and offering accessible, affordable, and artistically superb performances to the Northern Virginia community.

 

Benefits to Your Company.  The visibility that your company receives through BalletNova sponsorship provides a unique access to a very desirable audience of arts patrons.  Our BalletNova demographics reflect a high concentration of upscale, active families and community leaders – an ideal market for corporate sponsors.  And besides increasing your visibility and brand awareness in a valuable target market, you also can provide benefits to your employees through performance tickets and dance classes.

Performance Sponsorships.  

 

Performance Sponsorships provide you with targeted exposure to BalletNova’s key audiences and can be an important vehicle in spreading the word about your business’s involvement in the community. BalletNova produces two major theatrical performances per year – the Nutcracker in December, and a mixed repertoire Spring Show in April.

Spring Gala/

Young Choreographers Competition Sponsorships.

 

Supporting the Spring Gala and YCC brings your company two-fold benefits.  You ride the coattails of media attention for the Young Choreographers Competition, the first of its kind in the Metro DC area.  And you gain access to individuals with high levels of discretionary income and a commitment to the arts who attend the Spring Gala.

Project Sponsorships.

 

Your sponsorship support specific programs or projects and assists BalletNova in continuing these important community efforts.

 

Open House - $350 per event (3 per year)

·     Supporting the free 3 hour Open Houses, which include mini dance classes; crafts; refreshments; all free and open to the community

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall; Open House promotional materials; pre- and post-event email blast

 

Master Class (teacher and pianist, 3 per year): $500

·     Two-hour dance class with outstanding visiting professional; open to the public; opportunity to share an extraordinary teacher with the community

Jeb Stuart/Culmore Neighborhood Outreach Program - $3000

·     Support teens from the Culmore neighborhood through Jeb Stuart High School, who get a BNCD teacher to train them and receive free classes at BalletNova

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall; Open House promotional materials; pre- and post-event email blast

 

Greenbriar Learning Center Outreach Program - $3000

·     BalletNova teachers go onsite for 6 weeks to give free dance classes to these economically challenged students

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall; Open House promotional materials; pre- and post-event email blast

 

Free Performance to Economically -Challenged kids and families - $5000

·     Special matinee in-studio performance

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall;  promotional materials; pre- and post-event email blast

 

Scholarship for a Conservatory or Senior Division Level student:  $6,000

·     Tuition for one talented Senior or Conservatory Division student for one year, including pointe shoes and class leotard

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall;  promotional materials; email blasts;  watch your dancer in rehearsal; and photo opp in the studio

 

Financial aid for one year:  $49,000

·     Providing financial assistance to talented students without the means to continue their studies of dance

·     Special recognition on website, Facebook page and lobby Benefactor Wall;  promotional materials; email blasts
