BalletNova is a place that helps people
achieve their dreams of dancing.
An exciting community engagement program that uses the power of the arts to motivate and inspire school children.
Through in-school partnerships, workshops, and public performances, MOVE uses dance as a catalyst to empower children and motivate them towards excellence. The program is modeled after the well-respected National Dance Institute (NDI) program founded by former New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques D’Amboise.
MOVE is designed for elementary and middle school-aged children, and will be specifically aimed toward fourth graders in the first year. Students are not required to have any previous dance training and there is no charge to the student at all, though the schools may be asked to pay a fee.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, BalletNova depends on people like you who want to have an impact on your community through your support of the arts.
